Farmers market tour
Why the farmers market?
Your local farmers market is where you’ll find the most tastiest fruits and vegetables. Farmers’ TLC (tender loving care) is used to pick the freshest fruits and vegetables that are in season. They’re also more nutritious as a result.
You may attempt to shop at the Farmers Market, but often leave empty handed because you’re unfamiliar with the seasonal produce, how to cook it and the specific nutritional benefits of the various fruits, vegetables and herbs.
The farmers market can sometimes be overwhelming and that’s why I’m offering tours. Here’s what you’ll takeaway from the tour:
– The 3 traits of a true famers market ‘superfood’
– Which veggies are truly a vegetable viagra
– What colour can tell you about nutritional value
– Which foods are better cooked and which are better raw
– The Usain Bolt Yam and other yams you must give a try
– Vegetables with the highest omega 3’s
– You’ll also meet all the local coconut oil producers, crafts people, jam and spice makers.
The tour starts with complimentary coconut waters in hand and reusable bag for all your new fresh produce.
